It does this by using sensors in the cooking cabinet, actively monitoring humidity, automatically changing fan speed and utilising intelligent geometry to optimise airflow. This not only helps to cook food up to 10% faster than previous combi-steamers, but also reduces energy consumption by up to 50%.

The iCookingSuite functionality offers the flexibility to achieve reproducible, high-quality food again and again. This system utilises a selection of sensors and intelligent programming to monitor cooking progress and adjust to suit your pre-set parameters. So if you require a particular cooking result, such as browning or steak doneness, then the iCombi Pro with automatically adapt to the interior conditions and ensure consistent results. Fully gastronorm compatible, the oven can accommodate up to six 2/3 pans making it perfect for quick transfer between appliances producing between 20 and 80 meals per day.

If you're cooking multiple ingredients simultaneously, then Rational's iProductionManager system is here to help. Each rack can be individually controlled via the information screen. Simply select, drag and place the type of food that requires cooking on the corresponding rack and the intelligent programme will do the rest. The system also allows you to plan the entire production run of your dishes. So if you need your ingredients to finish cooking at the same time - such as a meal consisting of steak, chips and veg - then iProductionManager will tell you exactly when and where to place the racks.
